Do We Choose our Astrological Sign Prior to our Incarnation?

Nov 02, 2019

I'm the first one to admit that I don't know much about astrology. Outside of the characteristics and time frame of each sign.  I've never really even had an interest in studying it, until this morning.

When I woke, I realized I must have been studying Astrology on the Astral Plane because my first thought to myself was, "Do we choose our Astrological Sign when we are planning our next incarnation?" Cebu my Spirit Guide Healing Master, who just happens to be one of my best friends and teachers; therefore, he's in my ear all the time said to me,  "YES! I'm so glad you asked!"

The information that he started to share with me, I found to be quite profound.  However, it may be trivial to most skilled Astrologists's. For someone like me, who has never studied it, I was awe-struck.  Cebu began to explain that when we are in between lives and we are planning our next incarnation, we sit down for great lengths with a supportive counsel to start mapping out our next lifetime's soul lessons.  We review what our soul has already done and what we can achieve in the future and with whom. We start signing soul contracts with other souls to accomplish these lessons and achievements.

Next, we choose a name.  The name that we choose will phonetically and vibrationally carry a certain energy.  This energy will be the outer blueprint of our lives. Essentially the outer crust of a pie, if you will.  It's how we look from the outside. It's the outer content of our life story.

Then we take a look at Astrology, we see where our soul lessons fit into the chart.  The chart is already written for us, we just decide where we want to be placed. Where we decide to be placed will allow us to live out our soul's lessons on Mother Earth.  As you see, it's truly the fabric of our soul. It's a detailed map of who we will become, what life lessons we will learn, what time this will happen. It's literally a detailed blueprint of our lives! The juicy pie filling to our pie crust.

Take me for example, I'm an Aquarius.  Typical traits of an Aquarius are independent, innovative, confident, fixed (stubborn) with a bluntness of truth to them.  Well, I wasn't born this way at all. I had to really learn through soul lessons to become my true self, my true Aquarian self.  I was born independent, spending weeks at a specialty hospital where I had very limited visitors.  However, I quickly learned co-dependency which would carry forward into my early 30's.  It wasn't until I started working on my soul that I learned my independent, lone wolf Aquarian ways.  You see, I had to live into my soul's lessons and blueprint.  I wasn't a very innovative kid, through my codependency, I simply was a follower.  I didn't gain the confidence to become an innovative leader again until I started to explore my spiritual path which guided me to become more connected with my authentic self.  I wasn't stubborn either, again a follower.  If you knew me, nothing ever seemed to bother me because I was still learning my voice, still learning my confidence...still learning ME.

Now, with over a decade of soul-searching, learning and intuition I truly am fully integrated with my Authentic Higher Self.  I see my soul's fabric clearly written out in my astrological chart. The only proof you need is to have your chart read of the years you've already lived to see how true this is.

After my conversation with Cebu, I now can see clearly everyone's soul lessons, basically written on their sleeves.  We choose our signs, to learn how to live into them. Perhaps a sign such as an Earthbound Taurus spent many lifetimes never being grounded so they chose to be a Taurus to learn what it's like to be fixed to Earth. Perhaps a Gemini walked a straight single line in past lives and is now learning how to see things from twin sides.  Or a Cancer had not emoted in past lives so they are learning through their emotions. Maybe a Virgo had lived free with no structure in a previous life, so now they are here to keep us all organized.

If we can harness this information, maybe all of us can find our paths a little easier for it is written in the stars…

On a side note, after my conversation with Cebu, I turned the radio on and The Rolling Stones "You Can't Always Get What You Want" was playing...I laughed and thanked Cebu for sending clear messages from various aspects!
