What If Your Hardest Experiences Hold Your Purpose?

There was a time in my life where I gave my power away without realizing it.

I was a recovering people pleaser. A self-sacrificer in ways that looked generous on the outside… but felt empty on the inside.

I became very good at reading the room.
Very good at adjusting.
Very good at keeping the peace.

And very disconnected from myself.

The Life I Was Living… and the Moment It Broke Open

My marriage and divorce were not great, loving experiences. It was the most intense time in my life. Very destabilizing. At times, disorienting in a way that’s hard to explain unless you’ve lived it. 

I remember sitting there at the end of it… feeling like a shell of who I once was. Like I had slowly handed pieces of myself away over time…

Until I looked around and thought, where did I go? Who am I? I didn't recognize myself in the mirror anymore.

And here’s the part that changed everything: I didn’t stay in blame. I turned inward to try to unravel what the heck happened to me.

The Question That Gave Me My Power Back

I asked myself something that felt confronting… but freeing:

What inside of me allowed this?

This question wasn't to shame me. It gave me direction. It gave me my power back. Because if something in me created and allowed this pattern… then something in me could change it.

That’s where my spiritual journey began.

Becoming a Student of My Own Life

I didn’t have a roadmap. I just had a deep desire to understand myself. I started studying everything that felt like truth:

– intuition
– energy
– emotional patterns
– past lives
– soul contracts

Not to escape reality… But to make sense of it. To feel grounded in it. To feel like I could stand in my life again… instead of shrinking inside of it.

The Part of Me I Quieted (and Had to Reclaim)

The truth is… who I am today was always inside of me. As a child, I knew things. I would say things out loud without knowing how I knew… and be right.

That didn’t always land well.

So I learned to soften it.
Then silence myself.
Then question it.

And eventually… I stopped trusting myself.

It took years to come back to that voice.

Not perfectly. Not all at once. But steadily.

Building The Psychic Soul (Without a Big Plan)

At the time, I was working as a private flight attendant out of the greater Los Angeles area. My schedule was controlled. My time was spoken for. And something inside me wanted space.

Freedom, yes. But more than that… ownership of my energy.

So I started creating.

Not because I had a business plan. But because I had a need.

I wanted a full moon meditation that felt grounding… that helped me release… and then call my energy back in. I couldn’t find it. So I started creating first for myself and then for others. 

That became The Psychic Soul meditations.

I started to share them on YouTube. Consistently, every full moon at first. Then something unexpected happened… People resonated and were finding benefit in my work!

The Voice I Almost Didn’t Share

I almost stopped before it ever grew.

I felt insecure about my voice.
I questioned if it was “good enough.”
I wondered if anyone would even listen.

And still… I kept going.

Looking back, that’s one of the clearest lessons I carry now:

The places that feel the most uncomfortable… often hold our greatest gifts.
