Navigating Scorpio's Depths: A Week of Renewal and Recovery

Hello everyone! How is this week treating you so far? It took me a little bit to sit down and write this because I feel quiet. This week feels like a quiet week in the sense that I don’t want to share or speak much. I felt relief when the rain started to fall today because it felt like it gave me permission to continue resting. The need for rest has been essential, as I have been talking about this month, so much so that it almost feels prolonged. But I believe this is partly due to the busy habits of our society and that the rest is what is truly in tune with the natural elements. Even the sun is asleep sooner!
The Scorpio Season and the Art of Release: This continued need for rest is also due to the fact that we are still in Scorpio season, a month of release, shedding, and dying while we are alive. In response, we need extra renewal. When we expel from our bellies, what do we have to do but fill and re-nourish ourselves? Said in another way, it takes a lot of energy to grow a newborn, to grow new life, which is essentially what we have been creating the space for during this time. We have been crumbling the walls so we may reestablish our foundation.
Transition to Sagittarius Season: This next week is the last week of Scorpio, before we will then enter into Sagittarius season. Sagittarius is a sign of energy, fire, philosophy, brevity, and big picture views. A centaur, pointing its arrow and moving with great horsepower towards a vision for a greater future. With this ahead, we must continue to replenish our reserves in order to more fully embrace the upswing in energy that will soon arrive not only with the Zodiac shift but with the ushering in of the holidays.
Clearing Space for Self-Rediscovery: I believe that for the last 3 weeks, and years of course due to the lunar nodes having also been on the Scorpio axis, we have been clarifying, clearing, and releasing with intensity. There has been a knowing that certain things must go, and we have done so with a relative level of fervor, urgency, and intention. As we approach the end of Scorpio, there is now the spaciousness from all that we have cleared. I believe this spacious is not only here for the new, miraculous life that awaits us but for a retrieval of self.
Trusting the Depths Within: I believe this spaciousness is here for us to have the opportunity to call back the parts of ourselves that we once suppressed due to society, family, or other circumstances that indicated parts of us were not safe to be seen. Scorpio is the depth of relationships, and in the inter-relational field is where we learn trust, or the lack thereof. It is where we learn to trust others and even moreso, it is where we learn self-trust or self-distrust.
An Opportunity for Self-Reflection: I myself am noticing these old habits arise of how I used to relate to others out of safety. Ways that are not pertinent for my safety now and are actually creating more distance from my most authentic self and most fulfilling relationships. For instance, I found myself quieting my own expression and making myself smaller in my romantic relationship because the risk of being seen felt like the risk of abandonment. AND, this was an opportunity to call myself back in. To realize how my outdated beliefs around trust were controlling me under the perception of safety and choose, instead, to retrieve the part of me that loves to share my feelings, opinions, and imaginations.
Embracing Our Full Power: This last week is an opportunity to call back parts of ourselves we once quieted and believed unworthy. It is an opportunity to trust that we can move ahead with ALL of our power and trust that we are establishing new relationships and a new life that creates the space for all of our being. As Scorpio is also attuned to finances, power, and family/intergenerational trauma, the spaciousness is also an opportunity for us to bring in and form new beliefs around these matters OR retrieve the trusting beliefs we were born with that were taught out of us.
Reclaiming Our Narrative: Most thought patterns, self-beliefs, and even world views came from direct and subliminal messaging that now we have the opportunity to re-pattern and reclaim. For instance, maybe we were raised with a scarcity mindset, can we take intentional time to rise like the phoenix to a new vantage point of abundance, like when we were kids and the world was full of all we needed and more. Maybe we were raised that our worth is in our productivity, so can we take the time to create affirmations for our inherent power we once knew we had when we were kids imagining pirate ships.
Conclusion: Unearthing the Riches Within: What has always been ours but somewhere along the way it died for us and our protection? Can we find the treasure buried in the depths of ourselves, bring it back to the surface, and connect with our life of riches? Riches being the satisfaction of living as all that we are.
